In an election, one needs both hope and audacity.

A Kalesa, a horse drawn carriage, was one of the modes of transportation introduced by the Spaniards in the 18th century Philippines. Back then, only the the nobles and high-ranked officials could afford these “wheels”.
These days, they are rarely seen in the streets except in tourist spots and some rural areas. The kalesa driver is called a “Kutsero”.

And he said, “Friend you may not know me now.”… And then he said, “But wait…You used to teach my Sunday School…When I was only eight…And every week you would say a prayer…Before the class would start…And one day when you said that prayer…I asked Jesus in my heart.”
Thank you for giving to the Lord…I am a life that was changed…Thank you for giving to the Lord…I am so glad you gave.

First I want to thank You Lord for being who You are…For coming to the rescue of a man who’s drifted far…For calling me to be Your son and calling me to serve…Lord the way You’ve blessed my life is more than I deserve.
Keep the ones I love so dearly…Fill their emptiness while I am gone…And fill the loneliness in me.
This is my prayer…Lifted to You…Knowing You care even more than I do…This is my prayer…Lifted in Your name…Your will be done I humbly pray.
Let me be the evidence of what Your grace can do…To a generation struggling to find themselves in You…May they come to know the love of God…May their eyes be made to see…Give me the opportunity to share the truth that sets them free…And may unity in all things be the banner of Your Church…And let revival’s fire begin to burn.
As we face the last and final hours…Turn a wayward country back to You…And keep us from the evil that devours…Keep us on the path and lead us through…Keep us in Your light until Your kingdom comes…And our work is done.
This is my prayer…Lifted to You…Knowing You care so much more than I do…This is my prayer…In Jesus’ name…Your will be done I humbly pray.
This is my prayer.
I went up to the mountain
Because you asked me to
Up over the clouds
To where the sky was blue
I could see all around me
Everywhere
I could see all around me
Everywhere
Sometimes I feel like
I’ve never been nothing but tired
And I’ll be walking
Till the day I expire
Sometimes I lay down
No more can I do
But then I go on again
Because you ask me to
Some days I look down
Afraid I will fall
And though the sun shines
I see nothing at all
Then I hear your sweet voice, oh
Oh, come and then go, come and then go
Telling me softly
You love me so
The peaceful valley
Just over the mountain
The peaceful valley
Few come to know
I may never get there
Ever in this lifetime
But sooner or later
It’s there I will go
Sooner or later
It’s there I will go
Constant Change
[music & lyrics: Jose Mari Chan]
We’re on the road
We move from place to place
And oftentimes when I’m about to call it home
We’d have to move along
Life is a constant change…
The friends we know we meet along the way
Too soon the times we share form part of yesterday
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no
Clouds that move across the skies
Are changing form before our very eyes
Why couldn’t we keep time from movin’ on?
Hold on to all the years before this moment’s gone?
Why must we live the days at such a frightening pace?
We’re all like clouds that move across the skies
And changing form before our very eyes
Have we outgrown our Peter Pans and wings?
We’ve simply grown too old for tales of knights and kings
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no.
